| Dyslexia is a brain function that can be from mild to most severe and can have many hundreds of different effects; it just depends on what portion of the brain's thought process is effected and it varies in each individual. Some people read numbers backwards, while some people cannot decipher the symbols of numbers at all. Some people are not affected by the numbers as much as they are the written word as being the same. Some people read poorly all the way to the scale of not being able to decipher the symbols and correlate them so they cannot read at all and the spelling in most cases will be the same. Some people cannot decipher left from right. Some people occasionally misspell a word in the mild forms, but usually it will be the same word over and over. Some people have verbal dyslexia, where they know the word they are trying to say, but they mispronounce it and in most cases this will continuously be repeated with the same words whenever used in time. And so the different types go on and on. My dyslexia is most severe in hearing and seeing symbols of the written word. I have spent countless hours of deep thought trying to analyze what this is, why and what makes it work. So, I came to a conclusion of a theory, it is simply my belief that dyslexia arrives from the stuttering of the brain function between short term and long term memories; instantly on - off, on - off and it works the same to retrieve as it does to receive. The more fatigued, the more impaired by the dyslexia. So, therefore, the effects of stuttering with spoken words, not being able to retrieve to continue to pronounce it or retrieve it would be the same. People that stutter devise ways to either eliminate stutter words or a thought process that will assist in going around the stuttering effects. Therefore, I have concluded that dyslexia in whatever brain function is affected would be similar. When children and adults are struggling to figure out ways around a stressful situation arrived by dyslexia, fatigue amplifies quickly. It is my belief that a mother's hug is the ultimate support to find a way to work around it. It is hard to support something that is not understood. Understanding that many people with dyslexia has given so much to humanity and have been surrounded by personal assistants is essential. In most cases senses are enhanced as a result of any brain dysfunction. It is very important to realize that senses are the ultimate gauge of intelligence. History has shown that people with dyslexia have been the most intelligent people to have lived. Most people with dyslexia, as a result, can think from the third dimension; which in simplicity is being able to retrieve consciously from sub-conscious thought. Ones with this ability of thought is similar to using 100% of your brain to retrieve information. This is truly what is the gift of dyslexia and how so many people with dyslexia has done so much for humanity. |
